Thank everyone for the contribution
yesterday they told me to pay for it...so they can send me the kit...if i pay for it
come on...if i wasn't a user here i will never know about this brace kit so maybe in the future i will need a new chassis because i have a 2012 model and all of us know it would be dangerous
they just have to send me this kit with no excuse
put it on the 3w is a simple job....the same is checking for a chassis damage i'm more than disappointed

It does seem odd that MMC are willing to sell drk a kit to fit himself, but not give him one, unless it is supplied to and fitted by the dealer.
If it was me, I think I would go to the top and contact the managing director directly, I suspect you will then find things will get done, as it likely he doesn't know about this. [Rather like Martin Winterkorn I suspect].

Yes Paul. The can sell it to me...and i'll pay for it and, right now, i will sell my 3W knowing the next owner don't have to think about any chassis issues.
I wrote to my dealer to send me the parts i need , but my idea remains the same this kit is for a safety drive...a car factory have the moral and legal obligation to ensure security to its customers
i'll pay for it but my disappoint will remain

Morgan's attitude towards these safety issues is very strange. I have a friend, here in Italy, who had a broken frame on a Ducati Monster out of warranty period. Ducati made a deal with him and sent him a new frame unpainted, which even that I thought a bit "cheap". He had to have the frame painted and fit it himself. He is, fortunately, a mechanic. It cost him the cost of a paint job, plus quite a bit of his time, but at least they gave him the frame for free.

The problem of the chassis's cracking is either the result of a major design fault or the choice of an incorrect (or cheaper) material for the chassis tubing. Morgan are obviously aware of this and the offer of a free new bolt-in stiffening brace which can also be fitted free is tantamount to admitting to the problem, but lets not used dirty words like "Recall".
It is rather strange that they insist that the chassis's are inspected before they provide the free spacer and yet they will charge you £50.00 for the same item if you fit it and do not have the chassis inspected first.
As I (and others) have said earlier on this topic, fatigue cracks in their infancy would not be visible in the early stages (even if the paint were to be removed), so the whole idea of visually inspecting each chassis before fitting the brace is purely academic.
By the way, MMC told me that if the chassis cracks it is "Not Dangerous"
It seems MMC change the rules as they go along. I suggest you contact Steve Morris.

Good news, but it is such a shame he had to fight to get it, and spoil your day before being successful. Once it is fitted, you will be able to continue enjoying your car.

Well done, drk, some sense at last, and well done your dealer. Good luck with the kit! I hope this was all a misunderstanding but there are enough similar cases to have to conclude that MMC is doing all it can to reduce expenditure on after sales issues which may be necessary to post a profit but is doing their customer base no favours at all.
I really hope they have some plonker of a consultant remind them that most of their customers are long term and getting new customers is not easy for them...

Perhaps once the brace is fitted then at some point, when convenient, the dealer could do the official inspection of the chassis so that the records are complete? I would still check it myself from time to time.
