The fuse which protects the drivers side light and the dashboard lights keeps blowing. I thought it must be the side light, and so I removed the bulb, it still blew the fuse, just 30 seconds or so after setting off. I replaced the fuse again and switched the lights on with out driving off and it did not blow even after leaving it running for about 15 minutes. As soon as I drove off, it blew again after about 10 seconds.
Any ideas?

I recall a morgan dealer telling me about a very similar issue which turned out to be the wire to the rear light being clipped tightly somwhere under the rear wheel cover. I think it was something to do slightly incorrect routing of the cable, id have a close look at the wire to the rear light/s.

I had a similar problem which turned out to be the wing stay under the front wing. It had fractured and damaged the wiring to the side light.

So it only occurs if the car is moving. Not that familiar with MTW's but logic says I would check wiring that runs close to anything moving, suspension, transmission etc.. Put a lamp across the short and wiggle things to see if it goes out..

On my 2012 M3W, part of the wiring loom is being worn in the transmission tunnel between the Centa Drive bellhousing and the 'blister' designed to provide clearance for the clutch master cylinder. I think this wiring goes to the rear of the vehicle so maybe worth a check?
