Went to the factory today to have the bolt-in stiffening brace put in. Lets hope these do actually work and stop the chassis's cracking.
Drove back home (120 miles) in pouring rain.
Got soaked and the engine was water cooled.
I know we all enjoy driving our cars but on days like today it is so good when you get indoors.

I drove my M3W to the office this morning. It's only 7 miles on the highway, but I made sure to take the long way on backroads. A guy in a brand new Porsche 911 Targa was about to pull out of a parking lot as I drove by and he practically climbed half way out of his driver's side window to wave and smile. I love the way this car makes people light up. It's always great to put a smile on someone else's face, but it's even better when you're having fun behind the wheel of a M3W!

Here's a picture in the lot next to my brother's car. The complete opposite of a M3W if there ever was one...

I'm driving it every day smile but todays outing was special. The Caffeine and Coffee monthly meet in Auckland.

Parked next to a 1934 J.A.P. and then later on P964 arrived in Henri. It's fair to say we got a lot of attention.

Looking good, by the way you have changed so much on the m3w, but one very major difference & it all comes down to personal taste is the steering wheel. Don't you plan on changing it?

But I believe the company has shut for good.

Hi Q8 I'm thinking about a wheel but haven't decided yet. I was waiting for the car to arrive because I feared the standard wheel would be too large but I like it.

My greatest fear is that I will die and my wife will sell the car for what I told her it cost :-)

Hahaha, i got the simmonds 13.5in steering wheel & it looks right At home, perfection. Yes take your time & then decide if the factory steering wheel is the correct size for you. The brooklands steering will look good with your mog as you got the black dash inserts & black roll bars, but I believe its 14inches. It will make it a tight fit

Hi Philip
The Classics and Caffeine was a bit bigger than i thought it would be! Good to see three M3Ws present. Have to try to get there earlier next time, grand parenting duties kept us over by the horse and cart ride. Quite a few cars had left by time i got back to the car. Great day for it though. Good pix by the way
