On the Aero the tyre would rub and the only option would be to cut away part of the front splitter. I'm guessing the Plus 8 would be the same The +8 has no splitter, there is masses of space in front to the wheel... As the profile is in both cases 35% the difference in sidewall heightbetween 225 and 235 is 3.5cm, ie. the 235 wheel is is 7cm taller than the 225, based on using this calculator: . Calculator But that is almost 3", there is little clearance between the wheel and wing edge so it might catch the wheel arch on lock....

Someone removed the 'who did it' from my post I think... If it works this time it was Brands Hatch Morgans who sent the wheel away but I don't know who they sent it to. Great job - my wheel was MUCH MUCH worse than yours and now looks perfect.

As far as I am aware plus 8 and Aero wheels are made by RAYS of Japan and imported by Co-ordsport in Tipton, West Midlands.
Several dealers nationwide including Demon Tweeks.
All the above have websites, hope this helps!

It can't be 3 inches difference between a 225 wide and a 235 wide tyre! 235 x .35 is 82mm 235 x .35 is 79mm So that's a 3mm difference. Not 3cm To get a 3cm difference you'd need to go from 225to a 335 tyre width!

Yes confirm MMC use both RAYS and Speedline !
The Speedlines are 'Corsa' but not shown on their website. I don't know how to upload a pic (!) but the details are:-

I confirm the 19" "Aeromax" wheels are Rays, made in Japan and forged, not cast. So probably horribly expensive.

I have RAYS on my Donkervoort GTO, 18 in the front and 19 in the rear
A set of four wheels costs 12.000 Euro.....
RAYS doesn t supply those to the public, just to the factory as dimensions are specific
I bet the agreeement with MMC is similar somehow
