Had my 3W for nearly 18 months during which it has always had an oil leak from where the oil pipes attach to the engine. It is a slight weep but there are always a few drips on the garage floor.
At every service I mention the problem but it has not been resolved. The clamps on the pipe are tight, I have trimmed back the pipe and refitted it but still no joy.
The oil as I understand it is not under any pressure in the pipes so why can't I get a weep free connection.
I am thinking of fitting piping with compression fittings at each end.
Has anyone had this problem and cured it.

Tighten them abit more.. It might be from the plate just behind the hoses, with the 3 alen bolts. I had a little leak from it, but after tighten it all is good.

I don't have a 3w but in similar situations on motorcycles etc I have rarely found the need for compression type fittings even on pressured pipes.
The type of clip helps, jubilee are prone to distorting, there are other types that grip and close more evenly. The pipe ought to be a tight fit to the spigot anyway and on a dry fit. Put some pics up so we can see it better?

You could try Hi-Torque hose clips or use Clic-R style hose clips

----and when you get the leak fixed don't take off hose for the oil change. Suction the oil out and don't disturb the clamps. You have had for 18 months, does the oil tank have a drain?

check the quality of those hoses. They are max for 80°C and oil does get much hotter.

I stopped traces of oil by cleaning the nets two metallic hose connections and removed the oil with brake cleaner for joint glued with dough.

Have been using a Hydro-Turf oil extractor with great success. This means that the hoses stay on and clamped tight. I still have to remove the drain plug and get the last quarter cup sitting down there but that is not a big deal.
