I think a second flexi is the way to go, no matter what exhaust system it is. As well as preventing fractures, it would cut down on body vibrations and make the exhaust bobbins last indefinitely. Marginally more expensive at around £10 each + welding but worth it surely?

If I was a Brooklands owner I'd be off to my local exhaust fabricator to have a couple of those welded in ASAP and then you won;t have to worry any more....

So at last I have the stage 1 kit fully fitted and what a revaluation. The engine is so much smoother and no pinking at all. I now realise I wasn't really using the revcounter as the vibration and pinking would indicate the approaching redline. This morning I inadvertently hit the limiter about 10 times  The sound is superb! They bark on startup and when you hit the throttle but at a steady speed they quieten right down. Subjectivly (and from memory) it's more like the Brooklands than G56. Well done to Morgan for sorting this out - I got the impression that when they fitted the original stage 1 exhausts they were a bit taken aback at how far out they were. They then got the manufacturer in and they have remade them to fit (and used mine as a template so hopefully others will bolt straight on. Also involved were new exhaust mounts which look a bit beefier than the originals! They also have slotted holes for the jumbo bobbins so they are no longer under stress. I'll try to get them noise measured to see if track use is still OK.

Nice one Chris, looking good and sounding great by the sound of it.
I noticed too that with the G56 air filter and the sport pipes it really opened up the engine and upped the performance.

I was told you can get:
"Semi sport exhaust $600.00 plus install
Sport -no muffler- $610.00 plus install
AR M/SPORT exhaust as part of the stage one kit $2,000 plus install
Full stage one kit with Air Filter/Sport exhausts $2,200 plus install" This is what my dealer said was available and what the prices were state side.
