I believe most sites buy them from the DVLA anyway and then charge a premium - so best check there first. I bought mine via the DVLA - no hassle and efficient.

We got ours from one of the dealers.
We had one before and they offered to sell it for a premium, lets just say it was advertised at quite a premium.
I would agree that it is best to start with the DVLA.
If you do go for one of the brokers then don't rush, they can usually reduce their price. Ask them if they own the plate on retension or are selling it on behalf of someone. If it is on behalf of someone then there is usually a good margin in it that can be worked on.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I bought both mine from DVLA. Other sites offfered a few numbers not on DVLA list but for the rest the DVLA was a far better price.
