Hi Have to say there is a lot of fun to have choosing the spec you want. I narrowed it down to 2 parts, a must have and a nice to have. You have to go and see and drive the different models. Your questions 1 Search round the dealers they all book build slots if you want new find one with the time factor that suits you. 2 I like Mohair, yes it is silly expensive but I think it looks a lot better, others will disagree. 3 Colour the world is your oyster no two people will agree you have to keep looking at the mixes until one grabs you..
Above all enjoy the search and the owning of it.

Welcome David!
Everything is the short answer to your questions - all personal taste....it's all part of the fun. The car will choose you as noted many times before.

Hi and welcome to TM. The waiting list is currently around three months although you may find something that suits you out in the dealers. If you live by the seaside....I'd recommend Everflex rather that mohair. It's easier to clean seagull droppings! Mohair needs more care and attention and will fade in time but looks good and offers a slightly quieter hood. As far as colours are concerned..it's a very personal choice. Morgan's suit both the traditional colours, greens, old English whites, maroons etc just as much as metallics. Then there is the decision regarding painted wires versus stainless never mind the leather! It's all part of the fun!

Mohair can also be fitted to the inside and outside of the side screens which looks more luxurious than Everflex. Note that coloured mohair soon looks grubby on the folds. Also beware that with the hood down, mohair rubs on itself and can make shiny patches - front corners of header rail in particular. I wouldn't have anything other than black mohair on a new build.

Welcome to the madhouse! Browse the dealer sites for cars, both new and preowned. Test drive different engined cars. The more you look at could either make choices easier or harder! You could be surprised to find "your" car out there with slight variations to your ideal spec but easily modified to suit with small bits! Be careful when there is a spaniel nearby........
