Wifey says that if I buy this, she'd like to get a proper Moto Lita wheel as a car warming gift....Awwww...I fancy the four spoke model which is available in both 14" and 15" sizes. To my eye, the 15" wheel seems better proportioned to both the car and me (I'm 6'1"), and I was concerned if the extra inch diameter would pose any issues with thigh clearance (I'm also slender at 175lbs.) What say ye?

I'm 6'2 and found that when I drove a plus 4 with a Mota Lita thick rimmed wheel which is 13" diameter it was perfect in the hands and gave me more leg clearance. So I've ordered mine with one. (And I didn't notice any increased weight of steering over a 14" wheel)

My plus 4 came with a 13 inch thick rimmed ML.. Felt too much like a go cart for me so I switched to a 15 flat 4 spoke. Very different feel, more classic style and I much prefer it. For leg clearance it's only a half inch remember, not much. It's personal taste I'm afraid, nobody else can decide for you.

I went for the 12" momo with the flat bottom, makes it feel like a gocart! Always wanted to drive a gocart on the road an now I can. Personal taste really everyone's different - which makes them what they are

Thanks. I love the retro look of the four spoke Moto, I think the 15" is better proportioned to my frame and the interior, too. I was only concerned it would limit thigh clearance, but it doesn't sound so.

The larger wheel gives you more precise steering for handling the typical road curves. I use the 16.5 inch Brooklands wheel that was standard on my 61 +4 for scenic drives. This large wheel is not suitable for auto-cross competition, so I substitute a 14-inch +8 wheel for these events.

Flat bottom wheels are for Audis, not appropriate on any Morgan. If you do go for flat bottom be sure to specify the cup holders.

Definately really like the 4 spoke wheel

I have the 15 inch on my 4/4 but can't comment on how it will work space wise on the M3W'er as things are a bit tighter in that cockpit

The four spoke 14" will do quite fine. It makes it easier to get in and out of the car and the steering will really improves once you set the front pressure up at around 27 lbs where it should be.
