More poppers than a 1970's New York disco

Looks like the poppers may be hidden by the boot lid when closed so at least looks the part

So do you think that after the dealer day, there's furious sketching going on - probably to convert the factory softtop into a fully-collapsible foldaway?
carrot

I suspect that the trade off here isn't - as on other Morgans - a 2- way choice - roof up vs roof down.
Here it's a 3-way choice - hardtop vs open, with the added bonus of a softtop

The Aero 8 looks stunning, roof down.
Folks I've shown the car reckon it looks even better with the hardtop [I agree]

So how much does it matter if the 3d option is a bit fiddly... and then results in a clean shape, with the 14 poppers hidden (I think?) by the clamshell boot.

There may be a case for a quick-fit tonneau cover
[tonneau police, please note correct use of the terminology ;-) cop ]

I still like it a lot, and the colour is superb.

A trip to the factory is required to get a firm option on the hood but ones things for sure: I will not be spending north of £80K if that's the finished design.

Exactly my thoughts on the ARP4 - north of £55k!

But in that case the hood wasn't the issue, it was the rest.

I wonder whether the poppers have to come off to stow the roof?
