I complained about my book and was told some pics were standard shots particularly of the chassis as it was not practical to document everything and templates for some of the builds were made on mass and then selected when required. So have taken these out of my book!

I suppose that the optimum solution is to order the book but also attend during the chassis build. Take your own photos then substitute where necessary. You could even then include yourself in a photo or two.

If you are talking four wheeler.....the only part of the build that is not related to your actual car are the frame and body panels...apart from the bonnet. They are taken from stock.

I got the photo build book but tt did not arrive with the car. Dealer chased it up for me. There is page purporting to be the build ticket dated 01/10/13 but the dealer had sent me photos in September of the built car at the factory. I think it was built July.
I took over a cancelled order & could change nothing as already built. The book is a nice object but over priced. It will be with the car when sold. I have scanned the pages to keep.

Ours came 5 or 6 weeks before the car. It was very exciting to look at and show to friends. Yes, some of the pictures are stock images, and the spelled our last name wrong. But I'd get it again.

I have the build book. It has some stock photos but there are a lot of photos of my car. I would say that since you only have one chance ever to get it and it isn't that expensive, get it or you will regret not getting it.

The build book is certainly a 'nice to have'.

I think it does make a difference if and when you sell the car and also it is nice to show friends and family when talking about the car

The reason I say it makes a difference when selling is that it was certainly a deal maker when I bought mine

It just helps to reinforce the provenance and also makes a potential buyer realise that the car was a cherished purchase and makes it 'special'

If you have absolutely no plans or wishes to ever sell then it is still nice to get out and have a little look from time to time

It sometimes comes out when we have vistors who are interested in the car
