Bravo. thumbs

Living proof that what saves Australia from the nanny state tendencies of it's government is the bloody minded contempt for authority that lies deep in the heart of many an Aussie. Go for it. cheers

Hi Alan

Yes you will just need to use shorter bolts the chrome head ones are available from any Harley Davidson service center.

The best result would be from the S&S stealth air cleaner kits for the Xwedge. There are a number of combinations the Airstream Cover fits the best.

Enjoy.

There should be two oil level plates in the tank visible through the filler, a high and low level. Shine a torch in and hopefully the low level one will be just visible through the oil that is in line with the high level tab. Check the oil level a few minutes after running the engine, to scavenge the oil back to the tank. Good luck with removing all the ugly bits on the Aussie M3W.

I was wondering if, with exception of the Aussie bits mentioned above, whether the Aus M3W would be available in the uk.

I'm making a change to my "European model", ordered the slightly higher roll hoops (Aussie Spec) for my M3W.

They'd be installed by now, but MMC sent me two equal roll hoops ... as in ... two roll hoops for the same side of the 3W, and none for the opposite side. laugh2

Could someone with the later oil tank please measure the distance between the bottom of the tank and the top oil level indicator, as I have removed my dip stick so as to install a large penny washer to keep the rubber washer in place and stop it from falling into the tank.

Either that or I might just fit a sight glass on the side of the tank.

Mine is 4 1/4" from bottom of oil tank to high level , low level is half inch below that.
