Chaps,
I never thought I would say this but IMHO F1 is officially boring.
I have just sat through the Brazilian Gp and the only highlights, apart from the very nice bottle of Aussie Red I drunk, was Verstapen ( bad spelling ) trying for 10th place.
Hamilton was moaning on about a new strategy as he couldn't over take Nico etc etc.
I had more fun watching next doors cat chasing the leaves in the garden.
The interviews were full of corporate speak which told the fans nothing.
Where are the Chapmans, Coopers, Brabhams etc of yesteryear?
When you look at the drivers result table, nothing had changed, same with the the constructer's table.
Please will someone bring back the racing !!!

Reg

I watched the start and end, missing the predictable chunk in the middle. Hamilton's summed it up at the end, they weren't racing.

F1 has become a non-chemical treatment for insomnia.

Sadly gone. I too came to the conclusion that F1 is no longer for me, his year I haven't watched any. It seems to have lost its appeal around the same time as Murray quit commentating, The most enjoyment I had was watching the classic racing at Goodwood. Proper stuff!

Boring race procession. And that circuit is one I'd like to drive too.

Touring car, much more interesting racing. But I'd rather watch Brit Superbikes or rallying... All that's on the TV of course. Starting to suffer withdrawal symptoms now that the Prescott / Hill Climb season is finished for another year frown

I agree with Stewart the only GP worth watching was in America. Reduced grip and room to overtake made it so. How hard could it be to develop cars with less downforce and to race on circuits that are wider than Norfolk lanes?
