Yes a great day out, and a bigs thanks to the Steve's (oh dear an apostrophie). Better trip returning down the Fosse than going. Chance to try out my new sun visors and Russian hats.

Got to thank Steve and Stringers best mate for organising a top outing. How many times will you see 40 Mogs together on a freezing cold wet and windy day in November.

YOU MAD LOT. Was nice to meet you all.

Thanks to Pete for keeping me company on the trip.

Jim.

Top day out! Well done to SteveT for the idea & organisation & I think Steve (SBM) for the lanyards - & the prize giving too. Great to meet some familiar faces and put faces to the virtual ones on here not previously met.

Loved going around the collections and enjoying the trip down memory lane.

Good blatt back across to the M5 & up the. M6 chasing & being followed by a 4/4 Sport in Sand VX61 FUY - anybody on here?

Only downside to the day was getting home and finding I now have a cracked windscreen.

Where are we going next weekend then chaps? Well, if you fancy a trip to Liverpool join the Morgan Posse to Cars & Coffee on Sunday 29 November. Last month there was 4 Morgan's but we need a good contingent to show up all those Suburu boys what real cars are like! crazy2

Ok, I've thawed out again, now..

What a great day! So many people to chat to, so many great cars to mooch around including the car parking part, and a great ad-hoc adventure in late November..

For me, that strap line says it all. It isn't just about the cars, it's all about using them and a shared experience with some really quality people. When Steve T suggested we have a weekend meet somewhere, little did any of us think it would attract so many people so late in the season. Well done, that man!

Great to see Cain bring his mum along & listening to their rallying exploits (yes, she navigates for him..!!) is real 'Boys Own' stuff.

I learnt that (a) people with hoods & heaters look decidedly smug when the temperature hovers above freezing, and (b) I never knew there were so many flying jackets in existence..

I hope no-one was offended by any of the 'awards' handed out, it just appealed to my sense of humour, but when someone turns up in a very nice first Morgan having never even registered on TM, but watched as the event grew, and turned up concerned that he would be the last boy to be picked for the football team, it was a no-brainer to award Robin the Eric Gill Sans "Old Trout" award..!

Robin, just register and catch up on here - that puzzled look when everyone else laughed will all be clear!

Yes, overall a fantastic day & thinking caps on for celebrating TM's tenth birthday next year.

Ciao..
