As a member of the belgian morgan owners cluub www.morganownersgroup.be
And me and my friends are planning a trip from belgium
with 30 classic cars from belgium to south afrika
from 10 till 28 march 2016

Cars leave on boat in containers ,ship to south afrika and 16 day road trip of 2500 km
question
IF somebody knows someone to get me in cantact with some morgan owners in south afrika or from the capemog blog

Wow, that sounds very adventurous. Whats the cost of a return journey for the car in a container to South Africa?

last year we went to malaysia singapore borneo and flipines
cost wa app 6000 euro
this year south africa about same price

Reading a bike magazine recently , they said that they werent allowed to transit some areas / countries because of the risk from wild animals - you dont want to be lunch for a lion. Just wondering if the same thing applies to open cars, not that you would want the car to be open in african sun.

There's lots of South Africa you can drive perfectly safely as the lions are not everywhere. I've also driven quite a bit. In a Morgan is summer time in South Africa and managed with the heat and sun whilst taking the usual precautions against the sun. Most important is making sure you have plenty of water with you to drink.
