I have an early model with all the major updates fitted. However the gear lever is closer to the seats than the newer models and I poke the wife in the ribs every time I change gear, not a major problem I suppose but the new forward position is better.

I have asked my dealer to get a cost for the parts to change the gear lever to the new position, some 12 months ago but they cannot get a cost from Morgan.

Has anyone moved the gear lever to the forward position? If you have any info of what parts are required and where you purchased them I would aprieciate the details.

Cheers...

Mine is an early 2012 car and the previous owner had the gear lever re-positioned in March 2014. According to the paperwork, this cost him £400, although it was done along with several other warranty jobs so may have been a 'special' price.
