I think as a one time motorcyclist it is hard to resist the appeal of the M3W....I think the M3W is closer to a motorcycle than a car....and I love the simplicity of the design.
Totally impractical but counter-balanced, or even exceeded, by the fun to drive factor.
That said, I think I would be concerned by the reliability record of the M3W...maybe I have misjudged it but it does appear that a lot of owners have had significant problems with their cars (and that the owners of the first edition appear to have been used as 'Beta Testers' by the factory). They also seem a bit overpriced for what you get.
Either way you look at it owning one is quite mad....and from a driving perspective that is good.....from the reliability side of life a bit less so (and that may be down to luck or lack of etc).
Life's too short anyway....and you live in a fabulous part of the country with just the right sort of road for an M3W.
