I am getting ready to line bore my original Standard Vanguard block to take later TR3 replaceable cam bearings. The factory realized this problem by the mid-50's and put out a factory service bulletin in 1955. I found someone with the bulletin and he scanned it and sent it to me. I am posting all 5 sheets in case someone else is ever crazy enough to want to upgrade an original SV engine to TR3 cam bearings. -Bill in Tehachapi

Very valuable salvage scheme well worth preserving and some lovely olds (proper) drawings too. Good luck with the machining.

Served my time as a draughtsman at Chrysler in Linwood. Slightly more difficult for a left-hander with having to use the rulers upside down (sort of).
