Some low cost mods for the 4/4 just completed. Started with a wonderful combined air dam and scoop from Cain. Hooked up to a 70mm pipe running up to a K&N air filter kit replacing the air filter box. I also had the ECU remapped. More horsepower. More mid range torque and more noise without the afterburner popping from sport exhaust (without manifold/Cat section conversion which is expensive and may not pass emissions test here).
Looks good, I cannot see from the photos but what stops it scooping up water from puddle splash?
Very little right now except gravity. The water would have a very steep incline and I think most would be dissipated by the front grill. I will let you know.
Looks like good work. My scoop and dam (the former from AeroRacking and the later home made) have made a massive difference to my running temperatures.
I also used Cains spoiler on my 2014 4/4 and used the two brake ducts inlets to duct cool air up to oe air box with K+N filter fitted. Used flexible ducting up to homemade collector box and then on to air box. Cost about 15 pounds + K+N filter 28 pounds...cost effective modification

That sounds great. Could you post or send me any pictures of the connection to the spoiler and routing to the K&N. I may have to have a rethink about the routing on mine! Rgds Garret
