I had the same problem with the factory mirrors . Changed to round mirrors from revolutions ,easy to adjust and great rear view .The factory must know that theres are crap .

I brought my round stainless steel mirrors from Phoenix they are easy to adjust square ones I think are dangerous!

So far it's 100% for round mirrors, and I agree for aesthetic reasons. Morgan didn't supply a door mirror in the Sixties but a lot of American owners have this adaptor that allows the round Lucas wing mirror to fit outside the windscreen: http://www.morgan-spares.com/mm5/merchan...ory_Code=ACCESSI believe it only works on 9-point windscreens.

I have the round ones the factory supply, along with the metal framed interior mirror.
The door mirrors I transferred from the Roadster, Tarka came with the standard square ones that look terrible and are difficult to adjust, especially the near side one.
Square mirrors are fine on trucks.....enough said!

A common issue with the factory fitted mirrors - insufficient adjustment. The first mod I made was to throw the factory mirrors away and replace them with rounds ones.
Why doesn't the factory fit rounds as standard?

I suspect it's because the glass area is insufficient to meet the regulations.

First thing I did on my cars, fit the round mirrors and get rid of the large plastic rear view mirror as well, Ian Ditto. I also junked the useless headrests and blanked off the holes. Ditto the star wars style high level brake light clipped to the spare wheel.
