hello there!
anybody using a navigation device in the M3W?
I think of purchasing a motorcycle model (rain-proof, in-the-sun-readable-screens, big touch-symbols (also for use with gloves) ....
but how can I get to hear the commands?
in-ears?
what do you think of some small portable speaker? the batteries last up to 14 hours nowadays :-/

I have used my 7in tablet running Google Maps with a $30 Bluetooth earpiece and a "charger city hippo mount" from Amazon and even in a heavy rain it has not gotten wet sitting on the transmission tunnel.

EDIT: I have the original shifter lever position and I am not sure that the hippo mount would fit with the current shifter location.

You can set up your map ahead of time on Google Maps website from your computer and send it to a registered device. Pick up the tablet, click the notification and away you go.

I use a standard TomTom with a RAM mount. Works a treat.

I have a Tom Tom Rider sat nav and a Bluetooth earpiece, all seems to work well. It has its own battery but can also take power from the power socket under the dash.
