The obvious difference between MSCC and the Aero 8 club is that whereas in the MSCC you can be a member with any Morgan, or even a non-owning enthusiast; to belong to the Aero 8 club, you must own an Aero afaik.

Given that under 500 Aeros exist, the Aero 8 Club is also much smaller (I'm not sure but I believe it is limited numbers - under 100? Again, others will confirm these details if I am incorrect) smile

The last membership list we were sent for the Aero 8 Club Simon; showed some 20-odd members. I am sure that after their successful first event in St. Tropez last year, it must have grown by now. flag

Their second event this year, the first being at the Geneva Motor Show, will be in Austria at the end of May 2007. They have just circularised members advising that details of this event will be available in 'early May'.

I will post separately on this topic as we hoping to meet up with other Aero members from UK, and then with Aerofrog in Champagne, for the drive down to Austria. woohoo

The Morgan Sports Car Club is a more general marque club, that organises a major event each year, this year Mog007 at Goodwood, together with many other local and national events during the year. Monthly noggin'n'natters are held by many local Centres and there is specialist help for many Morgan models; though not Aero's as yet! frown

It is a friendly and well-supported club and I am a member of both the MSCC and the Aero 8 Club, as they offer different benefits.
