On US spec 3 wheelers (and maybe others?) there is a big ugly safety warning sticker in the center of the dash that is there for legal purposes', and it must remain there for vehicles that need to be inspected annually. So, I have designed 5 covers for the safety warning sticker that would be cast in a silver metal (with magnetic properties) and attached with a couple of strong magnets on the back side of the dash. I have yet to get pricing for these, but my intention is to sell them as a set of 5 so you can change them out as you like, but easily revert to the safety sticker when needed. In this thread I am looking to gauge interest in these as it would help me to figure the quantities that I may need to order them in, which would determine what the price would be. In my mind, I would expect the set of 5 to sell somewhere between $50 and $75, unless there is a lot of interest and we can get the cost down more. But, if the cost is above $75 for a set, I will probably hold off until we can get more people on board and the price drops. Here is the proof of the 5 designs (the black would be a polished metal, the white area within the black area would be recessed)

I'd be interested, but not sure about the "hot exhaust" on the dash, lol. I know the intent, but (only a suggestion), I'd replace that one with something more whimsical, like "low flying aircraft", or something like that.

It was meant for car shows as people always get close to lean in and look at the interior, they will see this and know to watch their shins.
Although I had thought about making it say something like "made in England" or something similar.

Most motorcycle inspections entail making sure there is enough tread left on the tires and that all the lights work. That's it. Perhaps in California they check emissions but everyone else doesn't care.
The stickers must be there for the new car purchase but once it is in your possession all bets are off as well as the stickers.

Wouldn't it be easier to just remove the stickers?
I recall growing up and as a lad seeing those "WARNING! DO NOT REMOVE THIS TAG!!" labels hanging down from grandma's furniture, being small always made these highly visible..and simultaneously a little scary and very absurd.
Has anyone successfully removed the dash sticker w/o also removing the underlying paint?

Yes. The newer the car the better. If that sticker gets old then it may be grief. The warning sticker on the engine was tougher due to being cooked.

I'm sure most people can remove the sticker without any actual consequences, but some people, like myself, either haven't or don't want to and in some states where both emission testing and safety inspections are required the warning labels are also checked. This is why there was a recall back in 2014 for items that were not properly labeled; if they weren't looking, this would have not been an issue.
Either way, I assumed that this wasn't something that everyone would want and it is why I am posting a feeler thread first instead of just getting a blanket quote for a few quantities. As I rather not spend a lot of time and/or money on having them created if most people are not interested.

When I asked grandma about the tags, she also told me not to touch them.
The sticker on the dash is obnoxious, and will come off with the help of a hot air blower. The stickers are there for importation/federalization, not inspection, it's really unlikely you'd encounter a problem at inspection time.
Offer the stickers, they're a nice idea...but not for some vague..and vaguely scary...fear of what would happen in their absence, unless you have some statue to quote.

Is that sticker on steel, not aluminum? Our didn't come with one.
