Absolutely chucking it down here for the last 48Hrs!! No one in their right mind would venture out unless there was a really serious need to do so!! Tomorrow's forecast looks even worse so I reckon I'll have to wait till Sunday to get my "fix"!!

I bet he slipped a couple of chickens to the local Druid to get some rain to show it off!
As well as Mog withdrawal I am having golf withdrawal.course is so wet the geese are landing on it! I am going to fit spikes to some flippers to play!

I'm worried...no more rain before Wednesday, according to the BBC!! That means two things:

1. I can go for a Boxing Day ride in the Mog = &

2. I can finally cut the grass, which is now over 10cm long = , thanks to the warm, wet winter.

Peter, I know the feeling but we have a village tradition of a long walk or rugby on the common followed by a sausage lunch with some beverage of choice so no driving today & the lawn can wait.

If my lawn gets any longer I will have to send out a patrol to make sure a pygmy tribe hasn't moved in!
I do feel a good walk might be in order after yesterday though...

Especially when it ends with sausages & red wine. Luckily the house we go to is about 300 yds uphill from us so the return is easy!!

Yes ...just off to Bishops Cleeve to take my 89 year old Mum to the pub.

We can walk from where she lives.

I might get her in the Mog ...but would need the mechanical assistance of a hoist to get her out!!
