Total chaos at Brooklands this morning, took the +8, arrived about 11, wondered why there were so many classics going in the other direction. They closed the entrance for classic cars and all the other car parks were full. Went to The Phoenix instead, good turnout, I remember the year when they had a group of very hungover, black faced Morris Men in the car park!

You were about 2 hours too late. I was there at 9 am and it was almost full then. It was pretty chaotic, not helped by a couple of cars breaking down in the queue to get in. Difficult to estimate but there was well over a 1000 cars there. About a dozen Morgans dotted around.

What a great array of cars with so many different makes to browse it looks like a great trip out.

I remember at an MGOC meeting the marshal insisting all the 1960s MG Midgets park up the banking.
As a one they gracefully slipped downhill as the handbrakes failed.

The official figure was 1568 cars today at Brooklands, no wonder it was busy!
