Any reason why the car is on the market?

From having many ancient vehicles, cars and motorcycles, I have learned to always keep a fully charged cell phone and a fully charged credit card with me at all times. There are not many situations that those two can't get you out of.

A "new" M3W may not be as sorted as a well maintained and modified/improved used car. New cars are still made down to a price, the exhaust system for example. As with all used cars, it is worth looking at what is on offer rather than just when it was made or how many miles are on it. Some owners of older cars have spent a lot of time and money sorting out the poor design and manufacture problems and now have a car at least as good, or more often better, than a new one.

Really, I've heard this all before on TM and the suggestion has been made that if you want to niggle over the problems you could maybe buy a Honda. I have a 2012 and all the problems have been resolved by me. I admit that if I had to run to the dealer I might not be so happy with my M3W. Since I was 20 years old I have had Brit Bikes--the old pre unit and if you want to talk unreliable---

I'd like to hear how your dealer trip went today. You're not buying ancient, you're buying new.

What you're confirming here is that this is an emotional purchase for you, and only you know what strokes it best for you. For me, it's getting exactly what I want, which is exactly brand new.
