Took the wife to a garage to pick up the newish rav4 after having towbar fitted , reminded myself again what a glorious monster the Mog is - crazy popping , the view , the louvres , lots of dials all lit up , wood and leather !

Em....went to Nevern with Ray and Hump while you were away in Devon. Nice run. I bet the river was a sight! Newport golf club is a nice one..great location. I remember it coming up for sale a few years ago at about £25,000 estimate. Some of us at my home club were talking about clubbing together to buy... We have a weekend away event there these days..I drive to play and not stayed there yet.
Sospan. The road serfices coming over the top are now very rutty and i would have felt quite bad had i organised a run that way, luckily you can get there several ways and each one quite stunning.Deffinately worth a run in summer with the usual convoy, the golf club were very accomodating but we chose to eat outside as we had the dog with us also plenty of parking.
Yep, made a nice trip just to blow the cobwebs away. Clear and sunny day at 5 degrees celsius, after 2 hours was pleased to come home for a cup of tea ;-) But driving the mog in winter is hillarious, makes so much fun! But you have to prepare yourself with tonneau cover and warm clothing:

I guess I deserve a medal after washing away the salt spray and cleaning the underneath of the whole car tomorrow ;-) ...

Looks like great fun, do you have winter tyres on?
Yes indeed it is great fun. Especially the people staring at you with mouth wide open are very motivating ... ;-)
I have no winter tires yet, but will get some for next winter. Up to then I only drive when the streets are cleaned up and temperature is above 4 degrees. And drive very carefully in bends/curves.
