Keep them !!!!
All exhausts have a finite life , so may be useful at some point.

Heat shields are still attached to the original exhaust.

yes the "2014 and up" exhaust is more different than you might think!

That drawing has a mistake. The heat shields attach to the brackets on the car body at the top and bottom. That shows them attaching to the exhaust at the top.

Looking at the diagram of the brackets attached to the body, that does make more sense.

I'm very surprised that there's not more people complaining about their body cracking at the side mount attachment points.

That is a LOT of weight to be supported by the three small bolts and thin backer plates in two places.

THEN add in all the road vibration etc!

Surely the only thing that's changed is the heat-shield mounting method - the actual pipes remain the same as the pre-2014 versions (save for the very early 1mm wall thickness originals)?

The pipes are the same but the exhaust mounting brackets and bobbins are different (14 and 15 in the 2014 diagram). The heat shield itself is also different - count the holes!

In fact I think the pipes are the only thing that hasn't changed

Anybody know what the "magical" difference is between the Stage one pipes (besides heat shields) and the stock (2012) pipes with out the baffles? Save a lot of money here by removing baffles. You could also use an aftermarket air cleaner.
