I believe that the current Fairbourne screen is legal because the driver can look over it and it therefroe does not require wipers.
Fairbourne have confirmed that they are beginning to look into developing a hood for the 5 speeder but I do not know if it will work with the existing Fairbourne screen, because the presence of a hood will prevent the driver being able look over it and therefore wipers will be required.

A clip-on lid like the Vanderhall Laguna might be nice?

Admitedly it would require a better-engineered screen arrangement...

Anyway...very nice job. Your 3W looks amazing

I had a rear view mirror with the original screens, so had to remove it and fill the mirror mounting holes with some polished stainless steel plugs when I fitted the Fairbourne screen. They don't look too out of place really. I fitted a rear view mirror to the centre screen support. It doesn't vibrate much in that position. It's the only mirror I can see anything in most of the time as the other two are just a blur.

Had a pair of aero screens made up by a local plastics firm to replace the cracked one. It was ok until I, inadvertently officer, went over the ton. Must have been the wind resistance.

Anyway 48 hour delivery and £40 the pair, didn't even bother to ring the dealer for price and delivery.

Old ones came out a treat, 10 minutes each when I had removed the bulkhead.

Nice little job for the weekend popping those babies in.

Dab of oppo I'm going to have to replace my aero screens. Where did you get your replacements, what material &thickness did you use. Perhaps your supplier still has the template. I'm still swithering over direct replacement or go for Fairbourne screen.
