yes, an awkward job , I've done both belts on my 2011 plus 4 I cant remember the spanner sizes but I cut one down in length in order to get it under the rear panel. once I got the nut off the bolt you need to pick the bolt out with 2 fingers in a "V" sign, sort of. the spanner shank was cut down to about 2" in length, I still have it somewhere if you need to know the size. By the way I got my seat belts rebuilt and a matching coloured webbing fitted by FDTS Ltd, Sue Taylor, west byfleet, phone 01932342043, brilliant service, keenest price, superb quality, great person to do business with. I'm led to believe Williams have used her.
