Somehow it seems that my key to the doors and boot (Aero 8 S1) has broken and I cannot find the other part. Luckily its not the "BMW" key. I dont have a spare - is it easy to get a new key? Would it have to be from Morgan? Thankfully all the doors were not locked as its in the garage!
Does the key have a number stamped on it? If so they are still available from classic car dealers if it's the same style as the Trad doors. And possibly from shoe repairers - but you'll need the whole key for a pattern.
Check the insides of the locks just in case the end is lodged in there.

Hi Dave, Unfortunately I cannot find the broken half - its certainly not in the lock (good news?) It has nothing on the key re numbers, etc With all the serial numbers - would the factory be able to produce one. many thanks T
I have 2 sets of keys with my Aero S1, and both Boot/Door keys bend very easily, although not broken yet. This is my Boot/Key which I cannot find any number on it.
Unfortunately the original owner lost the spare set of keys, The "morgan" key was really soft and did bend a bit!! Gin - thats rhe same style as mine. Thanks T
Taffy, I have just compared Gin's key with my own and it is has a different cut pattern. Also just looked at my Morgan owners Handbook and the key is coded as door and boot key FT204. This suggests multiple variations are out there. Also tried to get the plastic X FOB off the key itself to look for more information but no luck
FT 204 sounds like a Wilmott Breeden key number?...... Try a classic car spares company or fleabay..... Just checked fleabay at least one FT 204 for sale . Also any key cutter should be able to produce one via their computer. Good luck!
