A Prius tried to race me from the lights the other day,i thought i had him the first 100ft but you can only walk so fast.....  on the other hand, have you seen the speed the BMW i3s and i8s can do? I was at the lights a few weeks back with an i3 next to me (I wasn't in the Morgan) and when the lights went it went off up the road like a stabbed rat, I couldn't believe how quick it accelerated. Amazing.

As the originator of this forum, and also a first time user of TM i am in disspair at the way that my original question has descended into a POINTLESS debate about milk.

Hey man, pop a chill pill.  Think of TalkMorgan as a pub. You walk in, strike up a conversation with the guys around the bar. You ask some questions, people offer opinions. If you're new to the crowd, you will be made welcome and be made to feel part of the gang. If you wade in with an attitude, you may find that you get little response. We're all mates here, remember. And since you may be new to using the internet, you might not be aware that writing in all capitals is akin to shouting, and is generally considered to be just about as insulting as it's possible to be.

If not please do so before responding.
I now realise that i should have placed this question into the Maintenance Forum which i would expect a more serious/technical response.
However as a first time visitor to TM i did not know any better, is this such a crime!

Your original (rather brusquely phrased for a newbie) question attracted no fewer than 8 useful responses in a few short hours from a bunch of extremely experienced Morgan owners, some of whom have been driving, racing, and maintaining their Morgans for more years than you can shake a stick at. And yet still you seem to expect more? How much have you contributed to the debate other than demanding answers. As I said, lighten up buddy.
