I Emailed Mel Rutter a week or two ago. He said He would get back to Me with a price and availability. So far No Mel!

Have not posted for some time. Glad Peter Ballard has surfaced. Will try to leave Him alone (grin). I have banged Suplex front suspension all over Western US. Latest is a 2,000 mile run from Seattle to Yosemite Park in California with 4 crossings of the Sierra Nevada's chasing a Roadster 3.0. Is the Suplex Kit an improvement? Well I have not removed it but really can't answer this questions. Too many variables (some self inflicted) to figure all this out. I have read all the "Talk Morgan" information up to this point on rear Suplex suspension. I have also driven Bill Fink's +8+ with coil over suspension for a 4 day period. Not sure what I learned with this trial other than it was a lot of fun. I have contacted Uncle Mel to find out about availability and cost. Hard for Me to resist trying it out.
Button When I was at Yosemite Park last year, it was awesome...and I was dreaming to have my Mog around.

I understand the final settings for the dampers, Bilstein non adjustable and Quantum adjustable, have been signed off. That was the last remaining thing so now it is a green light for production. Realistically, from what I have been told, I think that the first deliveries will probably start after the Christmas break.

Indeed Berrybrook had a Suplex display including the rear suspecnion which was rather interesting. A consultant engineer was there and he was very knowledgeable (Peter) and he told me a few details. 1. The suspension is lighter than the springs they replace although you would never think so. 2. The 4 seater needs a different version as the footwell intrudes into the space thus this will have to be a shorter more compact arrangement. Should be lighter than the normal one whilst saving more weight as the 4 seater has more spring leaves. 3. Certainly the springs and shock absorber look a mighty unit. 4. The arrangement includes a panhard rod, well I got one of those already.
Personally I think this is the way Morgan should go or something like it, time to bury the cart springs. I was quoted in the order of £3,500 fitted so I'd better start saving and waiting until the 4 seater version is ready.
