Callum's comment about good water also holds - no hard water from the tap... What's hard water? Ice?

Ice would keep you cool. (Slight leaning to the subject)

I'd better make sure my radiator hoses don't leak when I take Nero up the hill G!

I agree totally Graeme. We had guests last night so I missed out on my usual dose of TM. When I logged on this morning I could not believe the number of unread messages in the Welcome Forum so I re-set the cookies two times.
I think Ken's topic has elicited a record number of responses in such a short time.
I started reading the debate with a certain amount of fascination because I have never seen anything like it on any forum. Thank goodness this is an exception to the usually friendly banter that we get on this forum. For a newbie to get so hot under the collar is unprecedented and at first I thought it might be a reappearance of a certain person known for his troll behaviour.
Thread drift in any forum is quite normal just as conversation drifts from one topic to another.
This particular drift started because there was a question about waterless coolant and overheating in a V8 which led to references to the environmental impact of V8s, which led to mention of the Prius, which led to mention of the BMW i series, this, in turn led to a comment about milk. I assumed that followed because milk was once delivered by electric milk floats.
All this is 100% normal. The usual thing that one should do is laugh and redirect the thread politely back to the topic if the original question has not been answered. In this case I believe the question had, in fact, been answered. If not to the OP's expectations I would politely suggest that he looks elswhere for technical documentation.

Agree Peter, pity you missed all the fun and the odd flying bar stool. Ken unfortunately has some making good to do if he's to participate in the forum going forwards. My guess is there are still some pretty miffed chaps out there that will think twice about offering help if it's asked for again. Last night was thankfully quite dull by comparison!

I must admit to having stayed off TM last night; tempted away by an excellent Thai takeaway (Prawn Green Curry ) and an early night. As for the aforementioned person - even in a virtual pub, he's the annoying bloke, who stands in the corner, upsetting everyone and as one of my Royal Marines friends would say "needs a good smack in the mouth"

You wouldn't walk into a strange pub and behave like that without expecting a thump or two. But forums make brave men. I'm prepared to give Ken the benefit if the doubt and assume he doesn't frequent forums often. Had he adopted that attitude on SELOC, the main Lotus forum he would have suffered a huge barrage of serious and direct criticism, and possibly a ban. We are pussycats in comparison. Who like the cream.
