As already mentioned some weeks ago in another thread here on TM about Bristol cars I only can repeat my statement that me too I´m a big aficionado of Bristol cars.
Beautiful quirky, handmade british cars for the real gentleman-driver!
My personal favourite is the 411 Series III (modern 4 headlight front but the classic tail lights from the late Sunbeam Alpines). A few months ago a fantastic car was sold in Germany - if I only would have had the budget... I suspect it would be very difficult if not impossible to find a better and more beautiful example. An ex-Simon Draper car (he is since decades a very loyal Bristol customer), in bottle green, green interior, totally restored to a high standard.

A bit more info on my Fighter, Bristol had designs on producing a twin turbo Fighter, my car was worked on at the Filton factory by Jeff Marsh and his team to alter the engine bulkhead to make it possible to fit the Turbochargers into the engine bay, taking the cars Viper engine from around 500bhp to 1000bhp.
Once this work was carried out, and before having an engine fitted it was then sent out of the factory to an outside company to have more aggressive modifications to it's bodywork, taking it to Competition (C) spec but this never got completed as Bristol went into receivership in 2011.
I'd love to get in touch with Toby Silverton, he was the Managing Director Of Bristol at the time to see if he can supply more info on the thinking behind the development of my car, but as yet I've had no luck with that, I'll post some pick when I've worked out what I have to do.
I do like the look of the Bristol fighter, although I've never see one in the 'flesh' but I can't see any historic Bristol styling cues in the car at all
It does have a Marcos look maybe even a Japanese look to it but I wish it just had some design nod to the past
It certainly doesn't look like a British gentleman's steed or Bristol to me
I would really like to see her in the metal once. What she has in common with other Bristol models in my view is her tendency to show perfect understatement. The shape looks well proportioned anyway.
Pic's of my Fighter, showing some of the bodywork alterations, and by it's side the last Fighter registered this car was sold by Bristol Cars for a considerable sum.
