JVS/GLL, I'm trying to drill the compensator housing to install a zerk and am finding the housing on mine VERY hard and can't get the drill bit to bite. Feels like the housing is case hardened? Any help appreciated. PS My M3W is 2012 and compensator not noisy yet, but I'd like to be ready, Thanks

The torque damper housings are made of aluminum (duralumin), it pierces easily, check the status of your wick or the direction of rotation of the machine.
The installation of a grease can be done without removing mechanical already drilling a 20mm diameter hole in the casing to reach the torque damper.
