Well, today I did take the Morgan out. Took it to the liquor store to by Cpt Morgan rum. Somehow seems appropriate.

Went to my local accesory shop today for some more sticky pads my mirror keeps on dropping off, over 40 miles later and what a blast sunny and cold.The shop is only two miles away, i think i went a bit wrong...

Went to local Waitrose and bumped into an old mate of mine and his wife. He told his wife that I use the Morgan for Waitrose but the Honda for Morrisons. Thinking about it he's correct!

Of course. As every day. How about a "I didn't drive my Morgan today" topic for us everday users? Nick I'm not a daily driver due to work requirements but today I had to ask my insurers to remove my mileage limitation as I'm already well over it in a few months.. Now unlimited. All part of my resolution to use it and not worry about saving it for the next owner.

200 odd miles yesterday to the Factory.
Hood down both ways....glorious, other than sitting on the A417 for 30 mins... Seems a nice trucker from Eastern Europe felt his truck needed re-shaping with a solid object.....
24,500 miles run and the car is just 23 months old.
I plan to wear the car out.
Or it will wear me out.
By the time I give up I expect to see 250,000 miles on the odometer....wonder what the trade in value will be for a 25 year old Aero +8 with 250,000 miles use!!

Haven't really thought about it that deeply John. Too many variables in life to think far ahead, all I know for now is that the pleasure of owning the car comes from actually driving it and short of wrecking it completely it'll still be around when I'm not!
