It is Button's tenacity not mechanical ability. After fighting Malvern Dance for some time an Alignment Shop found the tire had damage on the inside where it was not visible. Looked like a good tire. I stay away from tire shops. I don't even let them balance My tires.
I actually balance My tires with 4oz of antifreeze/water inserted thru the valve stem. Works a treat.

Or even an Elise I won't hijack this thread about REAR suspension with my problems. I'll start another post, probably one I've fitted the damper. There have been a lot of 'logical' suggestions here to get rid of the 'dance'; if it was easy..... Try them all but I am not sure the steering damper will do any good; you never know, though! If it was wheel balance, then the ultimate attempt is on car balancing. That will not only balance the wheel but will allow for imbalance in all the installation around the wheel and suspension. Don't know what part of the country you live but one of the few that do this is Vibration Free, near Brackley. they really do know what they are doing.

John,
Surely with your connections the boys at the Factory would look at/sort your Roadster !! It doesn't work like that!

My St Malverns dance was obliterated totally when I fitted a Suplex kit, usual underdamped front end dealt with and now instead of living in fear of road grids I attack them! Just need to deal with the rear end now.
I also wonder about the integrity of the wire wheels, as an ex biker these were a bit critical, anyone know of somebody to check them out?

This front end stuff is in danger of overtaking the rear end! I'll start another post!

Jays 4/4 was a gorgeous looking car. When I saw it the other month, it still was! The "new" owner loves it too...
