I haven't seen clip on balance weights for a while, taking age authenticity a bit far surely? Balancing should be done with self-adhesive weights on the inside of the wheels where they can't be seen and there is no risk of galvanic corrosion. Funnily enough I've just had my +8 alloy wheels refurbished by The Wheel Specialist, photo to follow.

I'm sure the neoprene is trimmed with leather.

Good choice Dave, I have the Vredestein Sprint Classic on the MGB 165HR14 been very pleased with them.

Yep, me too. A splendid tyre. I've not found any shortage of grip, wet or dry.

His Morgans drove him to drink!

Making blocks of wood up and then numbering them is enough to drive anyone to drink!

I think I am going to give my axle stand collection names then I can herd them like sheep.....I was going to give the Jacks a name but they are all called Jack so what's the point. Time for a lay down in a dark room I think......;-)

Too much Thunderbird influence. I did consider painting them.....
John - empty bottles vertical, full bottles sideways.

The balance weights are adhesive on the inside but the 4/4 rim shape doesn't provide a very wide flat area, so they are slightly wider than optimum. Three of the four needed weights on the outside and on a 4/4 rim the only option is a knock on weight. There's no flat rim area.
