Captain solo, never fear. My first ride / drive in a Morgan was after I had purchased my first. 35 years later, I am still hooked.
Cheers,
Mark

Congratulations! It's looking like delivery 1st March for mine Dave , you have got very good taste in cars , having been in the ARP4 is a mad Mog , how is the GT4 ? Hi, I'm still running in the GT4 and have only done 600 miles or so. Initial impressions are very positive. It's surprisingly comfortable and the handling is sublime and very immersive - it's the sort of car that puts a smile on your face when driving. All of the controls are very well weighted and the brakes are outstanding (I have the ceramic brakes on mine). It's not especially accelerative but the engine feels very strong and full of character. The rev-match on downshifts is good fun but makes for lazy driving. The overall feel of the car is very resolved and solid, with a hard, mechanical edge to everything. It has huge mechanical grip once the tyres are warmed up and changes direction very quickly. Disappointments? I went for a 'loud' colour which may not be to everyone's taste but I like it and the interior quality etc is very high. The bucket seats are very comforable but getting in and out can be quite theatrical. That's all really. I think the ARP4 will be a very different beast and I'm really looking forward to it - British charm versus German engineering excellence!
