I know there have been several of these but a recent post prompted me to share this one that use the 'Lift the Dot' fitting.

Tricky bit is drilling the smaller slots for the clip fitting and ensuring in the correct position to make it tight against the windscreen to stop it moving around.

Bit of padding and protection (velcro female!) and keeps it nice and tight (ohhh err!!)

Keith I think as you are the expert you should put that one in to ltd production.
So simple and neat.

Problem is the different sizes of satnav on the market. Would be a nice pocket money job if anyone wants one!

Very ellegant in its simplicity.
I just stick the Tomtom against the windshield using the suction device it came with.
Is there a regret in doing so? I see several neat alternatives this week on TM, i would never have felt the need to improve the standard.
What does irritate me is the low position of the rear view mirror, i already have a smaller one fitted, but it is just too low and blocking my view on the corner.
Cheers,
Bert

I have a patented solution for iPhones developed for TOTH last year. Sticky Velcro pads on the top of the dash & the windscreen with matching ones on the iPhone. Price £39.99, postage free. grin2

With the right boiler suit could seat belts be a thing of the past? smile

Can be developed further - use on luggage racks and luggage without needing to strap it down. grin2
