You are right about Suffolk, there are many lovely old villages and market towns set amongst the rolling hills and flat coastal plains, all connected by superb, winding country lanes and small A roads.
Unfortunately, the county is also bisected by the notorious A14, with it's wall to wall lorries heading to and from Felixstowe docks, and the A12 running down through Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex heading into London. These roads are easily avoided though, especially if you have time to meander about. Each time I go out for a drive I end up covering 100 to 150 miles of great roads, countryside and coastline.

A12 can often be empty outside commuter times and the A14 at the Suffolk end is quieter than further west as I join at Junct 1 . Its the B roads that can be tricky when its morning/evening .

Yesterday and today.....out and about in Snowdonia.....today being the better day with a smattering of sunshine here and there. I didn't see one other Morgan....which to be honest is a little unusual. Cold but hardly any wind....(not just me!).....and for once, on a weekend, the mountain roads were relatively clear.....though there were lots of heavily loaded motorbikes heading in the opposite direction to me as the Dragon Rally was held this weekend as well. Back in time to watch the rugby.....

As others say they have the same phenomena, is it the disc or pad material that MCC use?

Although I leave mine in gear and the handbrake off if the car is wet when it is parked up the brakes lock but come off easily enough when I move the car. Also happens to our old Freelander.

I always leave the handbrake off the Morgan (and other cars) when parked in the garage/on flat ground - especially after washing the car. I learnt this (the hard way) after a locked on rear drum brake on my daughters Clio unlocked (after rocking back and forth) by separating the lining from the metal shoe and jamming against the drum. I could not get the drum off and had to get car collected and taken to the local garage to sort. Expensive wash of the car! swear

It has been such a lovely day that I had to stop work and take the Mog for a blast up the A32, from Wickham to Alresford, then back via Winchester and the New Forest. A pointless journey in terms of running errands.... But a perfect journey to raise morale in an otherwise rainy year!

Took my youngest daughter for a quick run this evening. Lovely evening, cold and clear, and there is nothing like roof down Morgan cruising in the winter in the dark. Bliss! (She enjoyed it too). laugh2
