Many years ago (like 20 years...) I read an article in Classic & Sports Car that told of a study to see which car company was most environmentally friendly and they picked Morgan because its products are always rebuilt and at worst - biodegradable. I read another article in C&SC about what car company was most efficient and again they picked Morgan because every car was sold in advance, the company had no debt and they have a happy workforce. I also read an article about Soichiro Honda at his 80th birthday and retirement party. He was asked to prophecy about the future of the auto industry and he made a statement that in the future there would only be 5 car manufacturers in the world - and Morgan. Anyway, are comments and articles like this archived anywhere on TalkMorgan? I could start leafing through my C&SC collection looking for these articles, but I thought that they might exist elsewhere already. I love Morgan trivia. Attached is a 11 year old photo of what my Morgan looked like before the previous owner disassembled it.

I had heard the Honda quote before - infact I think James May repeated it on the recent programme 'Building Cars Live'

You would post a picture of someone polishing a Morgan Bill

I've been trying to get off my addiction all evening and now I'm about to have a relapse!

The car is still in a sad state. Here is a semi-current jpeg. I get the block back from a machine shop tomorrow where I had a block crack in the water jacket repaired using http://www.locknstitch.com/index.html . After that, I am having the cam bearing gallery line bored to take replaceable TR3 cam bearings. I hope to have it driving by April or so.

I would love to have that Triumph TR3A behind the Morgan. Takes me back to happy care free days.
