Just returned from Wedding Anniversary (44yrs) short holiday visit to Malvern and our Factory Visit. Yes, my wife loved the experience, as did our Mog and its day at home.

Is your New Car here somewhere?

Photos available as a slide show on:

Nice photos Frank. I wish I could say it was the Green Aeromax at the back of collections.....once day.

p.s. a Kicker is a power amp for the sound system. Either used to drive a pair of 6x9 or a sub bass unit in most cases. Looking at the size of that one I would guess a pair of 6x9.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Frank,
very nice photos, thanks for posting them.
I can't see my wife enjoying such a visit as a wedding anniversary present. She still moans about a 1 hr visit to see the Corvette museum in Bowling Green , Kentucky 5 yrs ago.

Great photos: now I feel a fool for not taking my camera with me when we did the combined tour/rental pick-up a week ago.

Good to see that I am not the only one who thinks a factory tour as a wedding anniversary treat is ideal smile Mere youngsters with only 28 years under our belt.

It has already cost me plenty though as are now in the process of ditching the Porsche for a stunning 4/4

Very nice photos Frank and plenty of them. IThey really give a good feel of the factory at work. coffee

Not quite as long as you in the wedding stakes, but even so not sure I'd suggest a factory-visit as an anniversary event. shocked2

Thanks for nice comments. Dave. I was Only 21 when Married. The good old days when the pressure to wed and move out started at 16. We had a very long engagement. I just realised it was also the anniversary of the first day WWII started (only joking Ann) nono ooo . ALSO - We used to get a fat Tax Rebate for a September Marriage (1.5yrs tax back)

John, The trip away was part of our little celebration. The Factory visit was for ME, even though the Mog is in Ann's Name (still cannot think why we decided to do that as I do all of the Driving)

Its a funny old world. I got the info there I needed about using the Cirrus Heat Shield on the Cat to help stop the Wing liner overheating and falling off again (Morgan have changed the adhesive now). Giving the car its wash and brush up after all of that wind and rain before tucking away, the rear view mirror fell off of the windscreen (after only 3450 miles) so back to the dealer again tomorrow. The warranty runs out in November. What's next I wonder??

The driving was fab though, roof down, across those quiet Cotswold's roads, up into the hills and Wales and now everything is bedding in it's a real pleasure with bags of power (enough for me anyway). Still only saw two Morgans out there, both in Malvern area. One was a very fast Blue + 8, could it have been Charles?? thumbs notworthy

Welcome to the forum Ian

Ah but! its all relative you see. It depends on who and what you love. innocent

Last year it took the second of two Cruises on the QE2 to get away on our own even though my daughter still had the Champagne & Flowers delivered to our Stateroom on the day.

This year, No one caught up with us in Great Malvern (other than the noisy pre-wedding party that spoiled Friday Night). Not even a Card until we arrived home.

Just the two of us enjoying our own company and our little car - ahhhhhhhhhh. love

How do we top that, Next Year, ??????

Frank,
I guessed as much. I expect after all that time you had earned the brownie points. After 27 years I am still working on it though I did get 1/2 a day at Winslow as you saw!!!

Glad you had a good time.
