Only look at instructions when all else fails.

Hey, well done Blackadder
That could be a helluva helpful post Twas! I just finished removing the sender and taking the pin out. Makes sense...keeps the float from banging around during shipping. All should be well now. Thanks!!!

I've driven about 100 miles so far. Initially I was looking for the dogs I thought I was inciting, but soon realized there's a "bark" coming from the car itself shortly after accelerating in any newly chosen gear. It's more time related than RPM specific. Is that the Centa unit? Supposedly it quiets down after 1,000 mile run in or so?

The only "dog like" noise from mine is the whining from the bevel box. The Centra unit has never made a sound.

KenShapiro, you must not drive the 3Wheeler at low engine revs. The sweet spot is between 3000 and 4000 revs (at least on my little beast) I hardly run the engine below 2500 revs. P.s.: the belt tension is correct?

Belt seems fine. I do not lug her.

Only barks when I take off in 1st gear. I let the clutch out at about 2,500. At 3,000 she "barks". Sounds more like the bevel box area.

Ken Check the heat shield bolts. Mine make a funny rasping noise when they loosen.
