To save me trying and failing to put pictures of my car up, the matte red one that Madmax put up, looks just like mine, except mine is a little more brown in most lights, red oxide has already been mentioned for some reason!
It is definitely a 'Marmite' car, some love other do not, someone called it 'Badass', whatever that means.......
I saw a matt red ARP4 in the finishing bay at the TM MMC gig and I also saw one being delivered when I called in to Williams a couple of weeks ago
I like the colour certainly but I don't think I could live with the matt finish unless you tell me its really easy to clean
I spoke to Mark Evans at Aero Racing about how they care for their matt red cars and he told me they use a high alcohol glass cleaner spray so it evaporates quickly and gets grease marks off

Think how many happy hours you could spend putting a shine on that one

Thanks for the video Steve, where did you get your matte sealer from in the UK? I was surprised the guys in the vid. were applying it with a circular motion, all other advice seems to say to apply in straight lines to avoid swirl marks. I think the biggest problem is going to be dealing with small marks and scratches, which would normally polish out, or maybe just a bit of T cut, then polish.
BTW, the matte red car in the finishing bay on the day of the TM visit was mine. MR11MOG posted a pic. and alluded to a very happy owner, after we'd had a chat and compared notes.
I've sent a request to the dealer to see if he can get hold of the standard boss, as I don't find I need to take the wheel off very often, if at all, and it is quite close with the removable boss.

very good - nice to see your car
I think it had been out on its test run on the Friday and it was the dust on the back from the run that prompted my question about cleaning to Mark
