Some feedback from the other half and some female companions. Looking at the new aero films. They've asked why do you always have a bloke and in the aero case a bloke with a flat cap driving the car? Some of us have to at least pretend we're involving the other half in our car purchases so your efforts might help the cause a little. grin2

How about getting owners to send you video footage from road trips for you to turn into some sort of customer mashup. Summers coming and Lemans coming so plenty of opportunity.

Some great ideas here.

I think the sum is about so much more than the car. It's about what it's like owning such a car, the owners & the shared adventures & yes, all genders and demographics too.

Exciting times ahead for both MMC and ourselves, I think.

All fantastic ideas guys, thank you. I will take these on board and see what I can do.
Please keep the ideas coming, and if there are any opportunities which present themselves feel free to email me at michael.smith@morgan-motor.co.uk

I agree....

I don't think you can amplify this DNA too much to be honest. In a world of robots, I rather like the fact that my car was built by a bloke called Brian in some sheds near Birmingham. With hammers.

It's core to the chemistry of wanting a Morgan - pointless to ever try and compete on performance when family hatchbacks can do 150mph.

+1. I'm not a Luddite but I really like the way my Morgan was made. Actually, I'm quite glad my daily drive wasn't built that way!

The buying experience is so different to any other car make .
Its all a little gungho at times with launches before cars are ready, silly faults that only humans make.
This will be my third Morgan so I expect some issues will need to be sorted.
It is somehow all part of the Morgan "Thing"
As one tour guide said to his group ."Please dont touch one or you will get the bug and there is no cure".
I've been to the factory now about half a dozen times recently to finalize the spec of my car and to have a test drive.
Its all sorted now with no fuss well.
I've spoken to probably all the key staff, Tour Guides and reception even know me .
I've Chatted with Steve Morris and lads in the work shop, been free to go and find the car in the factory and walk round unhindered, discussed its electrical components power consumption with an engineer.
Now what other car Manufacture would do that.
This is what makes Morgan so special and a big part of the ownership experience.
They will never be fault free or perfect but what the hell it is not a mass produced car made by robots there are millions of those to chose from.
Im sure most of the 30,000 visitors are amazed at the simple way the cars are made and each one spreads the message of the mystical Morgan.
What was this thread about Ah videos yes. The latest videos are great so lets have more as my wife is a petrol head then lets have more of the ladies involved as we are a couples club and we would be lost with out them ,or are we lost anyway as they do the navigating most of the time. innocent
