If your Roadster has the same tool tray arrangement as my 4/4 (under the rear shelf) a small grease gun will fit in there. If not, under the seat is an alternative. (I keep all the greasy stuff in an old sponge bag)
Also, you can buy pocket size cans of motorcycle chain lube, useful if you get a soaking and the leaf springs start to squeak.

+1 on Sugru. I have also found heavy lock wire and jubilee clips to be invaluable for fixing stuff. In my experience it's bits breaking or falling off that need to be sorted out most often.

John,

I have populated the aluminium tray with a small grease gun (Hika as recommended by Budster and tested) plus tools , electric tyre pump etc.... loads of space. all in preparation for my Scotland tour in early September. Bump tested on the rough roads of Torquay near my ladies flat....

Pete,
yes I was thinking of that. I might have to replace my larger warning triangle with a small one for it to fit.

I slide my warning triangle into the gap between the passenger seat rail and the door sill, it fits neatly and doesn't rattle.

I thing I had forgotten to mention - and I think no one else has:

A high-visibility emergency vest for each occupant of the vehicle is a legal requirement in France. You can get these for a fiver and they do not take up much space.

And I believe they have to be stored in a place where they can be reached without first getting out of the car - so it's under the passenger seat for mine.

Alongside the life jackets!

I would suggest a 'break glass' hammer but they don't do them for acrylic side screens !

RHD and LHD headlamps are not the same. You have to use special stickers to convert your headlamp. I don't know exactly the name in English headlight-adaptator?. Something like this:

But the reverse (UK to Europe). My daughter uses them when she comes in France.

In reality, duct tape would probably also still be required - but we can dream.
