I've decide the wing mirrors on my '69 +8 have to go. I'm thinking I'd like something attached to the windscreen, perhaps a clamp-on of some sort. Anyone have any experiences or ideas that they'd be willing to share?
Thanks, Tom

Hi Tom, Spent happy years in BC, never saw a Morgan!

Try HOLDENS or:

Why not go for the later door mounted mirrors, look good. Try John at Heart of England.

This is how I did it. I think "Heart Of England" makes a bracket that will do this. I made My own.
It works for Me. Problem is the window frame interferes a bit, so I use a convex mirror.

Thanks David. I've looked at Holdens and also Vintage Car Parts but I wonder what the visibility will be from them and where the best place to mount them might be.

We have 72 members of the Pacific Morgan Owners Group based in BC but Morgans have not been officially imported into Canada since the early '70s.

That looks brilliant Button, thank you for posting the picture. Another option to consider.

Didn't realize You were a neighbor. I also belong to "PACMOG" as well as "MOGNW" and "NCSSC". Morgan Spares has this bracket also.

Tom I went with these from Limora. See photo. Have had them on for 12 months now and have not encountered problems. They clamp to the side of the screen and don't come loose. The clamping position can be reversed. In winter, when the side screens are on, I clamp them to the front lip of the side side screens, otherwise the door cannot be opened. Actually in this position they are more for meeting the rules than providing good rear vision but maybe you can work out a better location on the plus 8.

This maybe better than My mirror. At least the window frame would not interfere. Still would use a convex mirror. I use this mirror to insure nobody is passing. Otherwise I keep track of traffic using the center mirror.

That's an interesting option Auster. I'll check out Limora

The problem with mirrors that are closely attached to the door or windscreen pillar is the limited rear view when driving abroad.
