If it's the bevel box, Morgan says it can be noisy for up to 1,000 miles.

Can you imagine going into pick up your new Chevy, Buick, BMW, Volvo etc and going back in after a short drive with a noise in the rear end?

They tell you, don't worry, it may be less noisy after a 1k miles or so, trust us.

I'm also surprised that the interior gets dirtier than the exterior, lol!

Good to see you're making the grade to M3W moanership, Ken..!!

There is an air gap around the rear aluminium bulkhead that the seat back bolts to. If you find you're getting road dirt & dust around the shoulder or hip area, it's worthwhile taking the seat back off & bridging the gap with some heavy duty adhesive tape.

This will stop the dirt from the rear getting into the cockpit, but you'll be surprised just how mucky you and your clothes get from general road dirt, more than a bike I found, probably because of your nearness to the road surface & aerodynamics.

The bevel box shouldn't be intrusively noisy, and they do genuinely wear in a bit, but your ear is only a couple of feet away from it and sealing your bulkhead will make a difference! I used to find there was a lot of noise coming from the tiny hole through which the seat belts loop in and out. Maybe neoprene seals would help here.

It's a patient path you need to tread, they get under your skin like an untrained but faithful dog..

Wonder if the new optional tire guard will help much. Pity the fool who orders white leather!

I remember having a custom motorcycle leather suit made. The knowledgable chap who took my order said white leather was always the best quality since it was the worst colour to mask imperfections in the hide.

Back on track I can only assume a substantial improvement on the dirt/dust issue with dedicated rear guard. Should be an easy retro-fit.

Wonder how long before it becomes a standard fit.

I'd guess at it staying on the options list until people don't choose it, in which case the base car price will go up on an annual review & it will become a standard item then..

Small mistake from Morgan. They probably did mean 100.000 miles.
